New CBN Tincture - 300MG's - Cibadol

Our pure CBN tincture features 300mg of high-quality, hemp-derived CBN isolate sourced from  Colorado farms.

CBN is a mildly psychoactive cannabinoid that’s naturally-occurring in trace amounts in cannabis and increases with age.

CBN shares a similar chemical composition to THC and is believed to primarily bind with CB2 receptors while acting as an antagonist to the TRPV2 receptor.

In order to achieve our highly-concentrated tincture, we’ve spent years in research and development, created a proprietary extraction process, and utilized our industry-leading expertise.

Even though CBN is considered to be a minor cannabinoid due to its low-occurring levels, this unique molecule is gaining popularity due to more scientific research and community interest.

Formulated with MCT coconut oil, our CBN tincture is a highly versatile product.
Enjoy adding to your favorite recipes, applying topically, or sublingually.

Mix and match with your favorite CBD products for your own custom cannabinoid therapy routine!

MCT oil and sunflower lecithin work hand and hand to increase bioavailability of CBN so that it can be easily absorbed by the human body.

Customize Your Cannabinoid Routine With CBN

CBN used to be one of the lesser known cannabinoids. When hemp plants are grown naturally, it appears in smaller quantities than THC and CBD.

CBN content is also highly dependent on the age of the plant and the level of oxygen exposure it’s received over its lifetime.

However, thanks to scientific advancements, manufacturers are finding new ways to make CBN more readily available. Now, CBN is quickly gaining recognition for its potential as a powerful natural agent.

Cibadol CBN Tincture makes it easy for you to customize your personal cannabinoid therapy and achieve the effects you desire.

How Is CBN Formed?

CBN (or cannabinol) is produced when the cannabis or hemp plant ages. Enzymes, ultraviolet light and heat produce changes at various stages of the plant’s life to transform CBGA (or cannabigerolic acid) ultimately into the CBN cannabinoid. More precisely, most cannabinoids start off as CBGA in the hemp plant.

As the hemp plant matures, enzymes transform the CBGA into CBG (cannabigerol), CBDA (cannabidiolic acid), THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid), and CBCA (cannabichromenic acid). THCA, on being exposed to heat, becomes THC. On being exposed to ultraviolet light, such as from sunlight, THCA transforms into CBNA (cannabinolic acid). This CBNA, when exposed to heat, decarboxylates into CBN (cannabinol).

What Could CBN Do?

While CBD and THC has been extensively researched and their mechanisms of action are known to include the CB1 and CB2 cell receptors, CBN hasn’t been the subject of as much study.

The lack of hard data on CBN is due to 90+ years of prohibition on cannabis, not because it hasn't been worth studying.  But, because of this, we can't definitively  report any effects a user should expect to feel.

Some research we do know, is that Cannabinol is known to act on the TRPA-1, TRPV-2, TRPV-3, and TRPV-4 cell receptors.

The reported effects of CBN Oil include producing a deep sense of relaxation and support for falling asleep faster and staying asleep longer.

This sense of deep sleep, relaxation, or slight intoxication can vary person-to-person, and experimentation will be key to achieve the best results.

Can CBN Make You Feel High?

Possibly.  The Hemp & Cannabinoid market has been going through fast changes in the last few years, and specific Cannabinoid use is still very new.

Because this is a new industry, with not enough scientific-backed research, it's hard for us to make definitive statements.

CBN is a degraded version of Delta-9THC, and so some users of CBN can report a slight intoxication. These users will report feeling a little more relaxed, happy, or just general sleepy feelings.

But, if you're looking to consume CBN to get similar effects as Marijuana, we're sorry to inform you they won't produce the same effects.

Users who have this slight intoxication do not report similar effects of being "high" in the same way Delta-9 THC would make you. Some would say it gives them about 1/10th of the same feeling.

Again, these effects are not consistent across the entire population of CBN users, and cannot be reported as fact.

In our experience, CBN is best used in a gradual manor, starting off slow, and increasing if needed.

Differences Between CBD & CBN

CBN (cannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol) are both phytocannabinoids, or cannabis-like molecules found naturally in the hemp plant. They are produced at different stages in the plant’s life cycle, with CBN being produced much later and in lower concentrations than CBD. While CBN acts on the TRPA-1, TRPV-2, TRPV-3, and TRPV-4 receptors, CBD binds to the CB2 endocannabinoid cell receptor and to the allosteric site at CB1.

Also, CBN has strong support for its use as sleep cycle support and is more effective than CBD for sleep, while CBD has a wider variety of applications.

Where Is The Hemp Cannabinoid Market Headed?

CBD is by far the most popular Cannabinoid in the legal U.S. Cannabis market right now, with THC right behind it. These two cannabinoids are what most of the general population has become familiar with over the last few years.

When CBN & CBG products first hit the Hemp market, there was cause for excitement from every stakeholder in the industry.

These new Cannabinoids allowed for more specific recommendations to better suit individual needs.  As you're probably aware, we cannot make specific claims or guarantees on what these products will do for someone.  But, because they are different compounds, they could produce different results for each individual person.

CBN has become known to provide more sleep support than CBD, because CBN can have more "sedative" effects than CBD.  For some, CBD has become a staple in their nightly routine as a way to relax, which could result in a better nights rest.

However, CBD hasn't been the best solution for everyone when it comes to finding a natural sleep aid, and so CBN has entered the conversation as an alternative Cannabinoid for consumers to try.

This same philosophy has also been applied to CBG.  CBG is thought to produce more uplifting, energetic feelings compared to CBD.  Because CBG could produce more energy for a specific individual, this could produce a better result for a person looking for a midday pick-me-up.

While we don't have a crystal ball, it's clear to many within the Hemp industry that mixing & matching different Cannabinoids will be the future of CBD.  For some, CBD is exactly what they need, for others it may be a combination of CBD, CBG, CBN, THC, and more.

Because everyone is affected differently by Cannabis, having a wider variety of options brings more opportunity for everyone to find the best plant-based health option for themselves.

Why Only Products Certified By The U.S. Hemp Authority?

When it comes to knowing if you can trust the CBD, CBG, or CBN products you're buying, it all begins with regulation.  At the current moment, the FDA has decided against regulating the CBD industry, instead allowing the free market to regulate itself.

This obvious mistake has led directly to the formation of the U.S. Hemp Authority.

The U.S. Hemp Authority aims to bring more consumer confidence to the Hemp/CBD market through their certification program.  This program promotes high standards and best practices for all things Hemp.

We have deliberately chosen products only from this certification due to the strict rules they require all companies to follow.  You can read in more detail about their stringent certification process, who all has been certified, and why it really matters to every stakeholder in our blog here.

Each brand that falls under the U.S. Hemp Authority umbrella of certified products inherently believes their products are the best.

Our job here at Certified Hemp Hub is to provide as much information as we can on each product/company, and help you find the best product for you.
